The only thing more intriguing than traditional Hindu art is the story behind each image.
The Krishna Lunchbox features the mischievous young Krishna, the eighth incarnation of the Hindu deity Vishnu. Stories of Krishna's youth emphasize his playful side; as a child he was known for stealing butter from milkmaids, and as a young man he charmed women with his flute. The front shows Krishna playing the flute, and the back features Vishnu's consort Lakshmi and the elephant god, Ganesh.
Each lunchbox is 25cm x 17,5cm x 7,5cm with metal fixtures and a plastic handle.
